Fachmentorien

"Fachmentorien" are special teaching events, offered in addition to the core curriculum. They provide support to master earlier recognized difficulties within the important basic courses. They are also considered to prepare both German and foreign students for their examinations.

Fachmentorien will enable students to accomplish subject-related learning dufficulties early on in the course of study, provide students the necessary technical understanding and technical language, hence to help and support the exam preparation as well as the main course of study. In addition, Fachmentorien facilitate the intercultural understanding and communication.

More information about the Fachmentorien as well as course materials can be found on ISIS [1].

In addition to the Fachmentorien our mentors offer advisory services to foreign students that are not necessarily related to a special subject of study. They can also be of great help with general problems regarding studies or life in Germany.

Due to the current situation of the coronavirus, it is unfortunately not possible for the "Fachmentoren" to offer consultation hours on site.

If you have social or subject-specific questions, you can contact the "Fachmentoren" by email (ziik-fm@lists.tu-berlin.de) or get advice by ZOOM. This is possible with or without registration. You need the following access data:
