Graduation ceremony of fourth generation of Computer Science Master's program

Within the scope of the fourth generation of the Computer Science Master's program for Afghan lecturers, 23 participants from nine Afghan universities were studying at TU Berlin since 2016.

From September 20 - 24, 2018 these 23 students presented their Master’s theses at TU Berlin.

On September 25, 2018, the graduation ceremony was held at TU Berlin in presence of the Afghan Minister of Higher Education, H. E. Prof. Dr. Khwaja Omary. We were delighted to welcome representatives of the Faculty IV of TU Berlin, of the German Federal Foreign Office, the DAAD, the World Bank and the presidents of Kabul Polytechnic University, Herat University and of Nangarhar University as our honored guests.

The Master's program is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and supported by DAAD and the World Bank.

After their return to Afghanistan at the end of this month, the graduates are going to focus on teaching at their respective universities.

We congratulate all graduates to their success and we’re looking forward to continue working together for one goal, the further construction of IT structures in Afghanistan. .
